Ventura County Search and Rescue SCUBA Diver Team

A Tradition of Underwater Service

Proudly serving our community from the water.

Ventura County Sheriff's Search & Rescue's Dive Team (VCSAR4) is one of the only Search, Rescue, and Recovery SCUBA diving teams solely staffed by volunteers in the United States.

Our team operates under the guidance of Captain Steve Giles and is dispatched by the Ventura County Sheriff's Department to water-related emergencies within the Ventura County service region.

If you need emergency help please call 911.
